The Worried Worm – Children’s book

Just ‘look in a book nook’ lookinabooknook.com if you enjoyed this little story and would like a copy for yourself or a friend! My sister calls it an autobiography because, like Willy, I had searched here, there and everywhere looking for MY niche when all along I had only to look within! After writing the story I didn’t know how to go about finding an illustrator so, as a wise worm once advised (just give it a try and see how you do), I decided to do the drawings myself. At present I am a dog-walker so these new found skills have come as quite a surprise to my family and me! I hope you are as delighted with the fruits of my labor and will visit my web site! lookinabooknook.com

Question by clmh: Should I take care of my daughter’s dog that has round worm, I am worried my dog & cat will get it too?
I promised a relative that I would take care of her 2 dogs for 10 days from now. I will have the dogs for 5 days.

Tonight she just told me she found a large round worm in her dogs stool. She will take it to the vet tomorrow. Now I don’t want either of those dogs near my pets or defecating in my yard.

I doubt if she could take the dog to a kennel with worms. If the dog is wormed do you think it would be safe to let her be around my pets?

Yeah she is getting them started on worming tomorrow. 10 days from now you get the dogs. When her dogs are in the yard and poop, clean up after them immediately. Even tho they are likely going to be done shedding the worms, get it cleaned up and out of there.
Your dogs are older?? It’s likely they aren’t going to get it anyhow. Round worm is a worm that mostly young dogs get from their mom, older dogs tend to be relatively immune to picking them up.

Round worm isn’t a biggy anyhow. Tell her you’ll take her dogs, But if your dogs do happen to get the worm, then she is responsible for having them treated.

What do you think? Answer below!

My dog is going to be tested for heart worm’s next sunday and I’m worried that if he is tested positive then my mom wont be able to pay for the treatment’s, since she can barely pay her bill’s! If he is tested positive should we put him down? and if he is not positive how much will the med’s be each month. (My mom would be able to pay the med’s every month but not the treatment if he has heart worm’s). I know i should not be worrying right now but i care about my dog! If he does have heart worm’s i’ll try very hard to get my mom to help him. i will also would do my best to save up some money. (DONT BRING UP NONE OF THAT B.S OF HOW I’M HEARTLESS, CAUSE I’M ONLY KID! I CAN’T DO MUCH BUT BEG AND CRY) P.s. my dog is 2 year’s old. ( but i’m sure my mom would pay for the treatment if he is positive, i’m just really worried!
