Question by sharty w: what is this worm in a tiny hole in my dog’s neck?
As my sister and i were playing with our new puppy we felt a small lump on his neck we opened the hair around the place we flt a lump nad saw a tan/green lump that came out of this red whole in his neck. We think it was the end of worm and the head is in the whole and the part we saw was his but. I cut off the part i saw? HE is now throwing up…? what is this mysterious worm/lump/hole we saw?

it might be a worm, dont cut it off cause you probley dont know what your doing, take your puppy to the vet, thell know what to do.

I’m so freaked out! I change my dog’s water on a weekly basis and we found like five of these little worm-like bugs (they were like a greenish color) and were just swimming around in the corner of the water dish… what are they?! Should I be worried?!

I was doing routine laundry and finally got around to a pile of towels that had been collecting into a full load (there are only two of us and it costs to wash/dry so we wait for a load) for at least two weeks. I threw one of the towels into the washer and a bunch of tiny black specks fell out. I thought it was just dirt or something, since I could have used it to wipe the dog off – but they were moving. I squished one, and blood (or something that looked like it) came out.
After it went through the wash on high heat and the dryer on high, I shook out the towels again and only a few of these tiny – less than 1/4″ – whitish worms fell out.
They’re not pinworms, because I’ve checked my stools and my dog’s and none are visible (I have pretty good eyesight and I looked carefully) and I have no symptoms.
They’re too small or too big to be any sort of worm I know of for my dog, and he has no symptoms either. But I still want to know if anyone has an idea on what they could be.
Any help?
