I am fostering two two week old puppies that were recently diagnosed with ringworm. They just started treatment and I am wondering how long it takes for it to go away.
Thanks!

Not sure about that but it is very contagious. YOu could catch it by touching the pups. YOu may need to wear gloves. and make sure their bedding is washed separately. It can be picked up from that too.

The incubation period for ringworm is usually 1-2 weeks so odds are she did not get it from the kitten, and should be careful not to infect the kitten. She should also check the dogs for lesions.

Question by faqpro: how long does it take a dog to pass out tapeworms after he took meds for it?
A few weeks ago 3-4 weeks we gave my dog tapeworm meds, Yesterday i found tapeworms in his stool, is he still passing it out or is it most likely my other dog’s?

Best answer:

Answer by My Pits A Lover Not A Fighter
I’m not 100% sure but I think he could still be passing them. When my dog had tapeworms the vet gave her one pill that day and the next one she had to take 3-4 weeks later. She didnt pass anymore after that but that’s probably why they give you the second treatment, to make sure they’re all gone. But it’s always best to ask the vet. A phone call is free.
