stray kittens growing

This is the third video I’ve done of the stray kittens, they had to be bottle fed when they were dropped off..they live temporarily at the vet hosp. They had ring worm REALLY bad, and Upper respiratory issues (colds). But they are feisty little kittens now…

This is a video I made taken on the iPhone 3GS

Little Miss Pathetic (Stray Dog Adoption # 3)

Folks, we really do NOT need another dog: We already have 2, both adopted strays. The dog in this video, however, has been hanging around my husband’s place of work for 2 months now, sleeping in the office on a chair and wandering into the 55-mph highway when her “owners” did not watch her (or give her food or water)! We finally broke down and took her home, to 2 1/2 acres with a radio-collar fence… and 2 other dogs and 3 cats/kittens. How could we NOT adopt her, when her previous owners said they would, THAT VERY DAY, turn her in to our local Animal Control Shelter? Our small-town shelter kills 90% of the adult dogs turned in. Does Little Miss Pathetic (we’re calling her “Charlotte”) deserve to die? We didn’t think so. We’ll make room. All of our pets are shelter-animals or strays. I just can’t say enough good things about mixed-breed, stray pets. They are the BEST! Our 3 other cats and 2 other dogs are featured in my other videos. I think they’re exceedingly cute and good pets… the best ever! Do YOU think they’re cute? If so, please take a look around your local ASPCA, Humane Society, or Animal Control shelter, and see if there’s a pet who needs you as much as these pets need us. Thank you! Oh, BTW, she’s not pathetic because she’s too skinny, like virtually all our other adopted strays were at one time, but because of her demeanor. She’s even afraid of Happy Kitten! She tries to hide on our laps when a cat approaches, seeking love, and she virtually always looks as

I Found A Stray Puppy….what Now???

I found a stray puppy the other night. its the calmest sweetest dog . it was covered with fleas and burrs and dirt. we washed it and cleaned it very well, and now it is ready to be in a home.
taking it to a vet seems very costly right now. are there any symptoms for heart disease?? what about heart worms or tapeworm? is there something i need to look for to detect something is wrong? the pound said that if no one claimed it within two weeks of bringing it there, he would be put down and my heart wont let me do that….
also, im having trouble finding a home for it as it is obvious that it has pit-bull in it. it is very obvious…
WHAT DO I DO????…i cant keep it b/c im allergic and our landlord wont let us do to the danger of it attacking some of the residents.
I am in Wichita Falls, Texas. If any one has info on someone who might want it in north Texas, let me know…email me..i will drive up to 3 hours away to insure this dog goes to a good home…..ALL IDEAS WELCOME..

He ate a little of it before I even knew what he was doing. There are a lot of stray cats around here and I’m concerned that he’ll get worms from it. He is on Heartgard, of course, but that doesn’t cover all types of worms. Should I have him fecal tested right away, or just look for symptoms? I think some types of intestinal worms don’t have symptoms though, right? I’m confused.
