Please call your VET as there are so many factors to consider here….. I would not take advice from anyone out here other than AN actual VET.

I don’t know whats wrong. She was a stray that we found not too long ago. When we found her she had several scrapes and scratches and gashes. She looked absolutely like a nightmare. I cleaned her up and took her to the vet. The vet said she had demodectic mange, hook worms, and a bacterial infection. She received a dipping for the mange, and was told to come back in a week. She also had some antibiotics which we gave her, and a dewormer pill.
We never took her back to the vet for her other dipping, it was too expensive and my husband didn’t feel like dishing out the money at the time, and we didn’t have the money to do it all over again. We searched for an alternative medicine. We stopped searching because my dog appeared to get completely better, when the vet said she should get worse before she even comes back to them. So we let it slide.
Now she has gained some wait, her skin on her neck has become bald, but not raw looking. Instead theres some nasty goo coming out of it. I’m horrified and have no clue if its from any of her earlier diagnosis, or something new! The wait she’s gained seems unnatural to me, it happened suddenly. I don’t know what to do, and I don’t have the money to take her to the vet right away, and I don’t want to take her to the vet if its just the mange or the hookworms, I can cure those with generic/cheaper alternative medicines. Please give me some information on what this new symptom could be.

She’s coughed like this occasionally, but for the past few days it’s been constant. Her eyes also became watery and r filled with goo. She is eating and doesn’t seem to have lost any energy. I thought about heart worms but the cough is the only symptom she has. Can the cough somehow be related to the alergy that’s causing the watery eyes?
