Question by Patriot: About the question I asked: can a dog get worms from cake?
People, I did not actually give my dog a piece of chocolate cake. It was a question to test knowledge, not to prove that I’m an idiot. I know that a living animal such as a worm can’t appear out of thin air but you would be surprised how many people think that worms can come from fresh human food.

We’ve had our dog for 3 months and she’s had pudding poo the entire time. We took her to the vet 3 months ago and did bring in a poo sample. Never heard anything back from the vet, so I assumed everything was fine. Her diarrhea is slowly getting worse no matter what we feed her. Should I worm her? Where do I get the wormer? Do I have to go to the vet? (not really looking forward to go to the vet…)
