Ringworm possibly infected?

Question by hvtitans83: Ringworm possibly infected?
I don’t have insurance so I’m trying to get as much help online as possible for this. I’m pretty sure I had ringworm from my dog

I’ve been putting antifungal cream on it twice a day for a few days and it stopped itching and looks a lot better. Yesterday though I noticed a few yellow pimply looking spots on my leg where the rash is still healing. They are very tender and cause a sharp pain in my leg anytime they are touched, at times it is too painful for me to walk on it.

I’ve washed it with soap in the shower everyday and these spots didn’t appear until I started using the anti fungal, but like I said the anti Fungal seemed to help my rash this is just a whole new feeling in my leg, it’s all pain no itch.

It does appear that you have a ringworm, and that you have some of the fungi going down the hair shafts, which is giving you the pus pockets. Although it’s possible that the over the counter antifungal medicine might clear u up, it’s also possible that you’re going to need oral medicine in order to get the medicine down into the tissue, rather than just on top.

Believe it or not, none of us can diagnose your dog through the internet. Get your butt to the vet.

What Could Possibly Be Wrong With My Dog?

She is 2 years old. For the past year now I’ve been having problems with her…she got Lyme disease and was treated for it but ever since she has had health problems. First she started chewing herself till she would bleed. Vet suggested that it was a food allergy and to try different foods. I tried many different foods. Her skin cleared up and her hair grew back when she was eating Blue Wilderness. 3 months later she starts getting sick. She will go a week or two with normal poop and then she goes thru a day with diarrhea. Then she’s fine again for another week or two before it happens again. I’ve made sure she doesn’t get into anything and she never picks up any thing from the ground outside. She has been checked for worms and all other internal parasites and she doesn’t have either. The vet did say when she had lyme that she did have it very bad. She did have full blown symptoms of Lyme. I only found that one tick on her even tho she had frontline on. What could possibly be wrong so I have an idea of what the vet will end up doing to treat her insted of running unnesicary tests that cost a fortune.
