Question by hiti: My dog is eating rabbit poop, can she catch worms or other parasites?
My 7 month old Yorkie keeps eating rabbit poop, can she catch parasites from this??
Best answer:
Answer by The Official Rabbit Encyclopedia
As long as your rabbit doesn’t have any kind of intestinal parasites then she can’t. A lot of dogs eat bunny poop, it’s nothing to worry about. If the rabbit had any kind of intestinal parasites you would be able to see them in the rabbits poop.

I think you should keep dog vomit away from children. Stepping in it. I think theyd be fine but tasting it…see a doctor. Once I stepped in the vomit my dog had, but I was fine. So I would just file a report to a local doctor’s office.

There are no parasites that are vomited up. Most live in the intestines and send the eggs out in the poop. You will never actually see the worms. You probably just saw some crud that he ate come up in his vomit. Normally, dogs get most parasites from ingesting poop or poop-contaminated things containing eggs.
If he is really lethargic, and still not eating or drinking, bring him to the vet tomorrow. If he seems to not be breathing right or seems to be in pain, go to the emergency vet now.
