Someone told me that tobacco will get rid of worms in dogs, so if you smoke around your dog, they will be less likely to get worms. Is this true?
Um, I never said I smoked, let alone smoked around a dog. I don’t, I was just wondering if it was true or not.

I take very good care of her, she has all her shots up to date, I give her heart worm medicine every month and last month I noticed in her feces long thin white worms moving around.
I immediately took her to the vet, they did a test to see if she had worms and they said that they didn’t find anything but gave her medicine to kill the worms anyway, they told me it sounded like they were roundworms.
They went away but now a month later I noticed them again, she never goes outside except when I take her out on a leash to potty.
We do not have a fenced in yard and there are a couple other dogs in the neighborhood but I never really see them around my yard.
My dog is a peekapoo, she’s 10 months old and is an inside dog.
Does anyone have any clue as to why she keeps getting these worms? And how can I keep her from getting them?

ok i allready know the answer since ring worm its a very contagious Fongus but i want other people to speak up in the matter since today im having a house meeting, and help me out with a humane solution to keep me and my pets safe yet not harming my roomates dog.
This its my roomates dog and he refuses to leave the dog outside or in a crate therefore my dog and my cat has to be lock in a room, Because i dont want them to get infected…
yet this its too late for me i just came from the hospital and i got some pills and creams and along with a badge of honor because of my roomate irresponsability, avandoment for his dog and bad hygene around others.
here are some pictures of the first week we are now in week 5 and the infection has spread all over his body and legs except his face…

My chihuahua pup seems to spend an awful lot of time licking her butthole, and I don’t know why. Does she have a problem with her anus, or does she simply like the smell/taste? According to the symptoms I have looked up, she does not have worms.
