Question by Ronda H: I’m Ronda, I live in MI. How do I kill hookworm in the ground?
My dog has had hookworm. I want to get rid of it from the ground. How can I do that? Do I have to remove the dirt? If so how deep do I have to go? Someone please help. Thank You

Answer by MB Orrrrrrrrrrrr – you give your dog a readily available pill that kills all manner of worm (e.g. Sentinel by Novartis, Google it), costing $ 9/month. Any method of attacking hookworm in its natural habitat is 1) polluting to the environment, including you and your dog 2) too expensive 3) very likely ineffectual..

Question by Stacy D: Can someone tell me how to treat the ground to get rid of tapeworms? My dogs are in a pen with a dirt bottom.?

Answer by cagney tapeworm larvae is carried by fleas. keep the fleas off your dogs with either frontline or advantage from your vets office. make sure you are scooping their poo once a day and this will help.

episodes. any ideas what it is? Please do not say take him to the vet, his appt is tomorrow, i just want to know kind of what to expect. i was told it may be tapeworms, and the seizures are because his blood sugar is too low due to the worms. he had fleas really bad when i bought him, so that kind of fits. what do you think?
