Yup You should always get them tested first, then if they do have worms, you know how to treat the problem.. Is it a good idea to keep taking aspirins if you don’t have a headache?

Question by erinkr1983: Do I still have to give my dog the worm capsules during the winer months?

Best answer:

Answer by Sleep Is For The Weak
Worms infect puppies anytime of year. I would suggest a natural solution using diatomaceous earth its natural and less harsh on his system…no chemicals. you can get it at any local feed store and mix it with food several days a week to keep your pet pest free..

Question by purple03: Is it bad that I forgot to give my dog his heart worm pill for the month?
Well i was supposed to give my dog his Iver heart Plus pill that the vet told me i had to give him once every month to prevent certain kinds of worms…..and the next day i remembered, so i gave it to him then. But the vet told me I’m only supposed to give it to him on that certain day (which was the 13th) and i gave it to him on the 14th. Is that bad for him? And if its not, am i supposed to give him his next pill on the 13th or the 14th? i would really appreciate if you guys answered my question….thanks!

Question by stephan s: what age can you give a dog tape worm medicine?
my dogs is 6 months old and i want to be safe along with preventative also.

Best answer:

Answer by tutock
First, yes it’s old enough. does your dog show any signs of tapeworms or any other type of worm or parasite? has it recently been infested with fleas? if you answer no to both questions, then don’t give to your dog as it causes the dog to have an upset stomach and is unnecessary. Signs of tapeworms- small white or yellowish things that resemble grains of rice around the dogs anus (butthole) and/or in their bedding. these are not the worms itself, but egg sacks…. sorry, i’m typing with one hand as i have burnt 3 of my fingers on the other hand.
