Most likely a tape worm. Did it look like a grain of rice sorta?

Question by Victoria: What type of worm is flat, white and found in dog/puppy poo?
My 10 or 11 week old puppy pooped today, and there was little white, flat worms in it I was doing some research, and it could be tapeworm, but not sure because she hasn’t eaten any rodents (unless she could get it from eating bedding from my guinea pig’s cage…) or fleas (from what I know of). What could this be, and is it deadly?

Take a stool sample to the vet tomorrow morning. The vet will figure out which type of worms and prescribe the right treatment.
It’s important to do this right away because pups are more fragile than adult fogs. The worms are getting the dog’s nutrients from what it eats instead of the pup.
