School, pools etc. If a child scratches his ringworm spot and touched your son, voila.

My dog is sick again. Vomiting after eating, coughing, vomiting phlem, sleeps a lot and itchy eyes. No fever, no diarrhea.
After these symptoms came and went, he then had muscle weakness- he couldn’t hold himself up to even pee!
He’s been just fine for a few weeks. We took him to a park a couple of days ago where he ran and got hot. He had some muscle weakness, but it went away.
Now we’re back at square one with the vomiting, coughing, sleepy, and itchy eyes.
He had labs done (looks like P2A and CBC- I’m a RN, but a people RN), x-rays, tested for tick borne diseases no intestinal or heart worms. His WBC was low- Vet. said that indicated a virus. Albumin & Amylase were low, and Alk Phosphatase was high. He was tx with antibiotics for aspiration pneumonia and a NSAID. He did great with the NSAID, so I put him on some Etodolac.
It seems overdoing it on a hot day but him back at square one.
I took out a loan to pay for all this, I can’t financial do it again. Help!

He stands still with stiff hindquarters and turns his head from side to side as if trying to get at his rump. He also licks the air when he does this and groans. I have been to the vet and he cleared his anal glands, yet the behaviour continued. Worms have been suggested because he is unable to ’scoot’ due to his short stature and so does this behaviour instead. There is no evidence in his stools and I have wormed him. The behaviour eased off for 3 weeks and is back again. Our other dog shows no symptoms of worms.
