Tip: Older, obese, and short-nosed dogs are more sensitive to the heat. Step 2: Safeguard them around water Safeguard your pets around water. If you’re at the beach, make sure they have a lot of drinking water so they don’t lap up ocean or lake water. Install animal exit devices in your pool, and rinse pets after they have a swim to remove chlorine. Put life jackets on them when taking them out on a boat. Worms infect puppies anytime of year. I would suggest a natural solution using diatomaceous earth its natural and less harsh on his system…no chemicals. you can get it at any local feed store and mix it with food several days a week to keep your pet pest free..

My dog, 7 year old dachshund mutt, was diagnosed with heart worms the other day. He shows no symptoms. I just dropped him off at the vet this morning. We are going to do the thing where he gets a shot today and a shot tomorrow. Then I was told I have to keep him calm and all of that. How often do dogs die because of treatment complications?
