Dutch The 3-Legged Doberman Pinscher

?***DUTCH HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!***? Dutch is a 3-4 year old pure bred Doberman that was a found as a stray. His front leg was badly injured (probably hit by a car) and was amputated. He was also neutered, had his teeth cleaned, full bloodwork, heartworm negative, treated for intestinal parasites and vaccinated. Now that he has recovered at the vet hospital, he is desperately looking for a home of his own. Dutch is a total sweetheart with ZERO aggressive behaviors and gets along with other dogs. He is housebroken and doesn’t have any known “issues”. He will not need any medical care for his amputation. Dutch will need to stay on the thin side to help his 3 remaining legs stay healthy. Other than that, he can run and play like any normal dog. He does not seem aggressive towards cats but likes to play chase with them. His is tall boy, about 80 pounds and would do best in a home with children over 10 years old. If you are interested in adopting Dutch, please fill out an on-line application at www.sadiesadiemaefoundation.org. 0 adoption donation, vet reference and home visit required.

My dog was injured with a few cuts on his back, since then, he had been losing weight rapidly. These are a few things that i can observed :
- He seems very thirsty, drink a lot.
- His eyes were waterly.
- He breathe very soundly.
He’s still eats as much as he used to eat and still active.
I suspect its a worm problem that caused it. My dog accidentally drank poison 2 years ago but we managed to saved him. Could damaged kidney symptom show up this late? ( as losing weight could caused by kidney problem)
