Can I buy dewormer online?

Question by BRUUUUSKI: Can I buy dewormer online?
Since everyone says dewormers sold at Petsmart can kill my kittens, can I buy something online?

Nearest vet is 2 hours away and my kittens get car sick… and they always overcharge me….

How about DRONTAL (for cats)… “The only broad-spectrum dewormer with the convenience of one dose administration for cats. Drontal contains praziquantel/pyrantel pamoate/febentel. Indicated for removal of tapeworms, hookworms, roundworms, and whipworms.” 50 tabs $ 157

It says NO PRESCRIPTION REQUIRED, even though DRONTAL for dogs is require.

So is this medicine effective? If they only have tapeworms, would this medicine hurt them if they don’t have the other worms listed?

And one of my kittens continues to have loose stools (not completely diarrhea) and a pot belly (signs of worms) but no worms were ever seen in his stool like the other on so would it hurt him if I gave him the medicine too?

Also should I get dewormers for my dogs too because they shared food and water with them?

Question by curious: can dewormer or medication for nausea cause constipation in dogs?
My newly adopted dog just started dewormer for hookworms yesterday at 6:30 and has not pooped since. She is also on medication for nausea. Do either one or both cause constipation? She has not even tried to potty. I have taken her out several times, she just sniffs around for a while and then is ready to go back inside.

does she eat? well its possible that it may be constipation, but it could be the medication. the medication might have side effects which may cause this problem!

Dog de-wormer

Did you know that nearly 80 percent of dogs will at one time in their lives contract worms? Worms are zoonotic, meaning they can be transmitted to humans. You can protect your family and pet from worms by using a monthly de-wormer. Sentry HC Worm X Plus kills seven strains of hook, tape and roundworms. Take a look at our video for more information.

What Will De-wormer Do To My Dogs?

Hi! I have two dogs. A 4 month old Chihuahua and a Dachshund that is nearly two years old. My Chihuahua has been acting funny here lately. Diarrhea and not eating as well as she normally does. The vet said she probably had worms and she had me come buy and pick up some de-wormer pills. SHe said it would be best to give them my Dachshund as well since they live together (even though he’s not showing the same symptoms as the Chihuahua). Anyway, she said that the dogs wouldn’t require any extra care after I gave them the pills. But I’ve heard from some coworkers that de-wormer can make dogs really sick. Should I keep them outside for a few hours after I give them the medication or will they be ok in their normal inside environment going outside every 3-4 hours?
Also, I forgot to ask my vet this, (i may call her later and ask her) but I have a cat as well. Should I give him some wormer too? Does it have to be the same vet strength or can the OTC brand work on him?
