more so, can humans catch tape worm or coccadia from a dog. how would the human be infected if they can.

The worm looked like a thin maggot. Does anyone know what kind it is? And do I have to take my cat to the vet, or can I get an over the counter med. Can my dog catch it? If I give my dog medication for worms, but doesn’t have worms, will it harm her?
Any info is greatly appreciated.

My dog looks like he has worms so I’m off to get him some panacure today. However, my 5 year old seems to have similar symptoms and I’m awaiting a call back from the health visitor. Is this coincidence or is it related?

what are the signs and symptoms i should look for? my children and myself have all played with a puppy who was just treated for worms (the owner didnt know until it was too late).
