In other words, if they were exposed about a month ago, can we start heart worm prevention without the expensive treatment, or is it too late. They have not been in mosquito”country” until 30 days ago. Any suggestions are welcome! Thank you!

I gave it to her on the 15 last month but wont be her on the 15 this month can i give it to her today since its the 13.?

He is 3 years old, and shows no sign of ever haveing heart worm or haveing heartworm, my friend says it is ok to just start him on it, but the vet says otherwise, do they just want my money??

She shows all of the symptoms for worms (except for the pot-belly which applies to puppies). She started with the “butt scooting” and within a couple of weeks she started throwing up and having diarrhea (which lasted 2-3 days). She has lost at least 5 lbs over the last week and is weak. She has finally started taking small amounts of food a couple of days ago & I plan to go to the pawn shop tomorrow so that I can take her to the vet, but don’t know if I can come up with enough money. Before you get nasty with me, I am disabled with no job and this is my child whom I take better care of than myself!
