My 7 months old puppy has a bad case of tape worm. The first dose of medication didn’t work. The vet gave him a second dose and said that if it does not work we have to put him down. We just got him about 3 months ago to replace another dog that we had to put down due to neurological problems. We also have a tea cup yorky that can not live alone which is why we replaced the first dog. I love this dog so much and I do not think I could handle holding another dog as the vet injects it. Please help.

My cat has worms. I just found out and I don’t have any medicine for a cat. I do for a dog. My question is will it hurt my cat to take that medicine. I’m for real now I need an honest answer please.

This question is for people who who really know what they are talking about. Of course, she is going to the vet tomorrow. Today I noticed a small white thing in my year old dog’s eye. I took it out with a tissue and it looked like a tiny worm (smaller than a grain of rice). It wasn’t moving, but I poked at it and it was squishy. If it was a worm, it was dead. She has recently been treated for tapeworms and has no worms in her stool. I will treat her for the tapeworms again in about a week. Has anyone ever had this happen? Vet techs or people with animal experience, what gives?
