One of my pups scoots his bum a lot, has lost weight, and has been treated preventatively for round worm. Another symptom he has is coughing and hacking after eating, but is otherwise healthy, and it is not kennel cough or my other pup would have contracted it. Is it probable that this coughing is a symptom of the worms?

My dog is an outdoor dog, the is a labrador retriever. We put skin so soft on her to keep the bugs off but it hasn’t worked very well with all the flooding and extra mosquitoes. She has many bug bites that have swelled up. What can i do to easy the pain of the mosquitoes bites and keep all the other diseases they carry from hurting her. I give her her heart worm pill every month. Is there anything i should be concerned about otherwise? If so what are the symptoms.

Hello,
I just got a 7 week old puppy. She’s a golden retriever lab mix. We brought her to the vet and everything appeared healthy. We brought the poop sample in yesterday to check for worms and we got a phone call this morning saying she had a amoebic worm infectinon. What does this mean? What happens to the puppy now? Will she be ok? What are the symptoms for dogs and humans? How can I tell if it carried over to me? Thank you so much!

So my dog had a litter of 5 puppies that are now 5 weeks old. We never treated them for worms because we were afraid they were too young. Now at 5 weeks some of the dogs are showing symptoms of roundworm infections. Such as, their feces basically looks like spaghetti. Hardly any poop, just lots of long worms. And sometimes there is a red (i’m assuming it’s blood) substance that almost looks like jelly..that also has worms in it. I’m not sure if it’s throw up or poop.
Do you think their infection is really bad? Or can it still be treated? And when should I worm them?

well first of all we figured out that our cat has worms. (were getting a vet as soon as possible), we looked up the symptoms of having worms, this has nothing to do with it.
my cat is NOT nocturnal, or at least i think it is. ever morning my cat meows at my door wanting to get out, but she is already fed, i give her TONS of affection. but she just meows away. the earliest she has woken me was about 5 in the morning. the latest was 7.
THEN
when she gets up in the morning i feed her along with my dog, but whenever my cat is playing (or i think she is) se pounces on my dog. but she pounces on EVERYTHING! she also runs everywhere and when i come up on her she runs like crazy under my bed, but she does that because of me. ha
is there anything wrong with my cat?
