it looked like a round worm, the funny thing is how she got it? she doens’t go out of the house for anything.

roundworms can be picked up from flea eggs, and other dogs stool, where theres one theres more, because shes got a heart condition take her to the vets with a stool sample to make sure they are roundworms firstly then to get the correct medication and dosage that would be safe.

If it looks like rice it is just a tapeworm (caused by eating fleas) Nothing major, just get it taken care of by a vet
may be a heart worm, if thats the case there little that can be done for the dog, just a matter of time before the heart worms plug the heart and, well. sorry.
There are several kinds of worms dogs get. First you have to identify what kind it is. Have a stool test done at the vets. Heart worms are the killers. Heartworms usually do not pass through into the droppings.

Call your vet they will be the best ones to ask. If she is a heart patient she is obviously under the care of a vet.
All puppies are born with round worms and need to be treated and can also get them if they are around a dogs stool that has them. You need to get the meds from the vet, they are the only ones that will work.
