can you worm a dog who is still nursing pups? the pups are 4 weeks old today?

NO NO NO!The Mother should have been wormed well before she had pups and now the pups are 4 weeks they need the worming not Mom.Get a chocolate flavoured type of paste or liquid follow instructions and make sure it is for PUPPIES and dosage and you do this at 4 weeks,4 weeks 8 weeks and again at 12 weeks and you must get an allwormer not one just for round worms.A lactting Mom although pups should be weaned now should still not be given anything if she is still feeding pups if not then fine you can but l would wait until another 2 weeks for Mom to get wormed
