Does the pill make the dog not as hungry?
well my vet gave me the pill to give to him. it was called Dontral.

“Pills” don’t do squat for “worms”…each species requires a different wormer=not “de-”wormer.!
It shouldn’t affect appetite. However, if your dog had worms, he may have been eating larger quantities of food that he normally would have needed to provide enough nutrients for himself after the worms had stolen their share.
It depends. Some of the over the counter dewormers can cause digestive upsets. The nausea could be causing your dog not to want to eat. Yes drontal is a is a broad spectrum dewormer. It can cause some nausea.
Well if the pup had worms already then it was probably over eating already. So if you are getting a control on the worm problem his appetite might not be as big anymore. However keep an eye on them and if they stop eating all together then have them checked out.
