help please! will my dog die if she eats an alive worm?

today i saw my little chihuahua eat an alive earthworm. she juts swallowed it. I am very alarmed and don’t know if she will be okay.will it die?do i have o take her to the vet?

She will not die nor will she get worms from eating a live worm.
She’s going to be just fine, so you don’t need to panic and you don’t need to take her to the vet either
YOUR DOG WILL BE FINE. OUR DOG LOVES TO EAT RABBIT POOP AND WE ASKED THE VET AND THE VET SAID IT IS ACTUALLY GOOD FOR THE DOG SO DON’T WORRY ABOUT THE WORM. YOUR DOG WILL BE FINE.

haha aww. no dont worry, its okay. in some places in the world, people eat bugs of all sorts, earthworms are fine. plus dogs are pretty smart with food, if its not it most likely will smell bad to the dog. good chance they wont eat it. but you never know.
No. Earthworms are edible for dogs and humans and any other animal which consumes meat based protein.

Even my dog once swallowed earth worm, five years ago and she is absolutely fine. There is no need to be alarmed. She will be fine. The worm will provide protein to her so don’t scared. And there is no need to take her to the vet too.

No, your dog will be fine its just like when a child eats a worm or bug the stomach acid will kill it and take the necessary vitamins and minerals and he/she will poop whats left out like any other thing.
My dog eats all sorts. He even catches the flies, wasps and bees that get into the house in the summer they ALL get eaten alive my guy has never had a problem if she appears to be a little down he/she may just have a little tummy ache as would you if you ate a worm but he/she will be fine It’s just a dog thing.

no of coarse not she be absolutly fine no need to take her the vets unless her health changes chiuahuas are afar more tougher breed than what people thinktheir origons are from mexico as you know iwhich is close to the equator so the terrain and the weather conditions are dry and lack of food and water the chiuahuas have have to turn to other sources which include insects so dont worry about it the worst outcome is upset tummy
LOL..not to worry yes they are good protein but the acids in your dog’s stomach will kill any bugs he eats.
if u would calm down a bit. the dog will live til it dies from something else. cause it ate the worm doesn’t mean it is going to hurt it. it may or may not get sick. but Ne wayz the dog will be alright. its probably ate many differ thinks in its life time so a worm will not bother it.
however, if you happen to see something crawling around in its belly then that may be the worm and it may still be alive. so i would then take it to the vet. jus to make sure.
she’ll be fine. My Dachshund has eaten much worse. Try to get her to take it easy for a few hours though, just to be safe.
Its fine my dog eats flies. But do not feed you dog chocolate no matter what. Its poison to them.
