My dog just vomited what looked like spaghetti noddles clumped together is it round worm?

Earliest appointment we could get with the Vet was tomorrow morning but I just want to get some opinions on whether or not this is probably round worm so I don’t have to rush him to the Vet Hospital and wait for the appointment tomorrow morning… thanks to all who answer in advance

Yes it could very much be roundworm in fact you described them perfectly. They will do a fecal test on your dog and give medication. I know there is worming medications available over the counter not sure if its for round or ring worm though. Make sure you clean your yard very well dogs get it from Consuming infective worm eggs from soil in the environment (generally through normal grooming,Nursing from an infected mother dog,Consuming a prey animal (usually rodent) that is carrying developing worms or are born with it if the mom is infected

Sounds to me like if you have an appt tomorrow morning, no need to rush. I would pick up a sample of that vomit, and bring it in with you (just a scoop in a sandwich bag will work) I would also refrigerate it to keep it fresh, JUST in case. The fresher the sample the better, so if she vomits the morning of the appt, take that sample in instead.
Hookworms or roundworms, one. You have to get the proper medication, because if the dog is starting to throw them up, then he has a lot in his stomach. This can kill a dog. go to the vet
Most likely to be roundworms. You are correct, though a fecal float will determine for sure. You don’t really need to save the vomit as a sample-they’ll be able to tell exactly what parasite(s) your dog has from a fresh stoool sample, either from the first walk tomorrow morning or one they get at the vet. Sure, the vomit will visually prove what you saw, but they’ll still need a fecal to check for other parasites. Don’t get an over the counter medicine. It won’t be effective. Save your money for the real medicine at the vet.
Get your dog on heartworm preventative! Each type is a little different, but all of the major brands (and probably all generic-prescription, vet approved generic-options) have treatment for intestinal parasites in them, too. If you’re giving that every month like you should, not only are you preventing heartowrms, but also you’re treating hooks and rounds every month and should never ever get to the point of such a severe infestation that worms are vomited!
I’m not scolding you or anything. You’ve already made the earliest available vet appointment. I’m just giving you the information I have. Which includes the fact that your dog needs to be on heartworm preventative. If he is on it, every month, then you might want to check your expiration dates because if it’s not working on intestinal worms, it may not be preventing heartworms, either.
A dog who is vomiting roundworms is porbably carring a heavy worm burden – last time I heard of this the pup DIED. SO yeah keep that appointment.
