My dog is a rescue animal. I found a large worm and blood clot in runny stool today. What could this be?

How would I be able to treat it? Sometimes, with low activity, she will start to pant. And one day, she didn’t eat at all.

I’m not sure, but you should definetly take him to the vet.
She could have ring worm, take her to the vet asap!
CALL THE VET !!!! duh !!
I am not sure make sure you take him to the vet. It might be a really bad case of worms.
take her to the vet and get her checked out
go to the vet and report the RESCUE kennel where you got it from.
Your dog probably has tapeworm. It can not be ringworm because ringworm is an infection of the skin. You should take your dog to the vet ASAP.
For more info look it up on the internet
TAPEWORM

Sounds like parasites. Take your dog and a stool sample to the vet. It’s easy to detect and easy to treat.
ADDED: Ringworm is a fungal infection of the skin.
Tapeworm looks like single grains of rice in the stool.
Roundworm looks like strands of spaghetti in the stool.
Other parasites are not so visible – they are better seen under a microscope. Either way, let your vet make a diagnosis and prescribe the proper treatment. Nobody is qualified to do that online.
my friends cat did that to its tapeworm get her to a vet imeadenly
you need to get her to a vet now! the dr. should be able to tell you what she has and how to best treat it.
First, I would contact the rescue group. Obviously, she has a bad case of worms. But you cannot treat it, and never try OTC meds.
If you got the pup from a pound or kill shelter, chances are they won’t have a vet onsite, nor did they offer any sort of healthcare or shots, etc.
The other symptoms may or may not be related to the worms, but the one thing that is obvious is she needs vet care asap, whether the rescue people provide it or you find your own.
You can worry about reporting them, or reimbursement if this was a rescue group that promised it was healthy, later. Your priority now needs to be the dog.
i’m sorry this happened and good luck!
Only the Vet can tell for sure, he will need a small stool sample, a guess would be hookworm, but my adopted dog had them she was a panter, that was just her and there was blook in her stool, but it wasn’t runny, I didn’t see a worm and the doctor told me what he thought it might be, but he know she always go in for anything so he said he would know more after he saw the sample, also he was concerned about the blood being clotted, it wasn’t and he felt better, so get her to the doc
it could be a tapeworm, no matter what kind of worm it is , you need to take it to the vet now!
